The play is set in a dystopian future after a pandemic has changed the world the way we know it. What is special about this production is the audience writes part of the script. They share their thoughts on what they’ve already experienced and what they fear about what the future might bring. Through the interactive play we discover that though we live in so many different cultures around the world, humans are more similar than they are different. And there is a way that the world can unite to overcome the fears associated with the many moral issues that have also spread like a virus.

Valedictory and Finale: Perini dance

Perini Sivathandavam is an ancient dance form that has been revived in the recent past by Padmasri Dr. Nataraja Ramakrishna. The dance originated and prospered in Telangana during the reign of the Kakatiya dynasty. Perini is performed in honour of god Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction. It is usually performed by men and is called the ‘Dance of Warriors’ as it is believed that in ancient times it was performed before the soldiers set out for war. The dance form reached its pinnacle during the rule of the Kakatiyas who established their dynasty at Warangal and ruled for almost two centuries. One can find evidences of this dance in the sculptures near the sanctum sanctorum of the Ramappa Temple.
