Niruj Mohan Ramanujam

Niruj Mohan Ramanujam heads the Science Communication, Public Outreach, and Education (SCOPE) Section at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru. He was a radio astronomer at the South African Radio Astronomical Observatory, Cape Town and the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA-TIFR), Pune. After his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Leiden University, The Netherlands and the IAP in France. He is the former chairperson of the Public Outreach and Education Committee of the Astronomical Society of India and the Outreach Committee of the African Astronomical Society. He is on the National Astronomy Education Coordinator team and is a National Outreach Coordinator.
