Shamir Tandon is best known for his music in Madhur Bhandarkar’s National Award-winning trilogy, comprising of Page 3, Corporate, and Traffic Signal. He quit his corporate job as the Country Head at Virgin EMI to pursue his passion for music. He has worked with legends like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Manna Dey, Jagjit Singh and Bhupinder Singh. He runs an entertainment company called “Shamir Tandon’s Entertainment & Music Boutique” and is currently the artist and repertoire consultant for Universal Music Group. The 6 Pack Band which he curated, managed, and composed the songs for won the prestigious Grand Prix Glass Lion at the Cannes Lions Festival in 2016.
