Sumedha Verma Ojha graduated in economics from Lady Shri Ram College, and has a gold medal in sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. After a stint in the Indian bureaucracy, she now lives in Switzerland pursuing her dream of presenting the beauty of ancient India to the world through her writing. Urnabhih: A Mauryan Tale of Espionage, Adventure and Seduction (2014) is her debut novel and she is working on her second book on the Mauryans. She says she is also doing her best to learn French and Sanskrit!
