Farhad Tamkanat completed his BFA from the Sri Venkateshwara College of Fine Arts (2004).  He has a penchant to work in various mediums such as acrylic, charcoal, watercolours, and pen drawings. He has been participating in and exhibiting his works since 2007 at Shrishti Art Gallery, Daira Centre for Arts and Culture in Hyderabad, and the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai among others. He has to his credit several solo and group shows besides participating in art camps. His works are in many private collections in Mumbai and the USA.
