Soundarya Kaushik is a Kuchipudi dance choreographer, performer, researcher and speaker. A student of Guru Maddali Ushagayatri, she has completed a master’s degree in performing arts (Kuchipudi) from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Hyderabad. She started learning Kuchipudi from Guru P Rama Devi in 2009. She has completed both Certificate and Diploma Courses in Kuchipudi with Distinction. She is currently a Field Officer at CCRT and has also organized community extension and feedback programmes in the state and central government schools of Hyderabad, training more than 6000 children in arts and crafts.
