Nasreen Z. Ehtesham received initial training in molecular biology at the Department of Medicine, University of Alberta, Canada. After a brief stay at Texas A&M University, she returned to India and completed her PhD at the National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi. She served as a postdoc at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi; as Assistant Director ICMR National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Hyderabad; and as the head of the ICMR National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi. She has more than 120 publications, a dozen patents and is currently a Distinguished Professor at Sharda University, Greater Noida, India.
