Alexandra Büchler is the director of ‘Literature Across Frontiers: European Platform for Literary Exchange, Translation and Policy Debate’, an initiative based in Wales. She is a member of the European Cultural Parliament, and has served on the board of organisations such as Culture Action Europe and the Translators Association, UK. She has translated over twenty-five books and edited six anthologies of contemporary fiction in translation. She is the Editorial Director of Transcript: Europe’s Online Review of International Writing and editor of New Voices from Europe and Beyond series of contemporary poetry anthologies from Arc Publications, UK.
