Helene Bukowski’s debut novel Milchzähne (2019, Milk Teeth) was nominated for several literary awards. It has been translated into French and English and has been adapted to film. Her second novel, Die Kriegerin (The Warrior), was published in 2022. She has a master's degree in Literary Writing and Editing, and a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and Cultural Journalism from the University of Hildesheim. She leads many creative writing projects and workshops.
