Hisham Mundol
Hisham Mundol is Chief Advisor in India to the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), in which role he leads the organization’s strategy centering on supporting an Indian pathway to shared sustainable prosperity. EDF’s priorities are demonstrating the viability of sustainable livelihoods, partnering to demonstrate shareholder value creation through responsible business, building market-based mechanisms to further climate progress, as well as catalyzing the climate tech ecosystem in India. He led the work of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation in India and also ran the National Condoms Programme for the Indian Government’s National AIDS Control Organization, and later set up operations in South Asia for Wikimedia Foundation, promoting projects like Wikipedia.
