Mahesh Hippalgaonkar is completing his MFA in Art History and Visual Studies at the University of Hyderabad. He is enthusiastic about developing academic practice while incorporating art historical and critical theories to reflect on different idioms of artistic expression. He works with environmental issues that intersect between social sciences and artistic expression. He is working on monographs about undocumented Telangana artists.
