Stephanie Allen began her publishing life at Heffers Booksellers in Cambridge before moving onto John Murray where she worked as publicity manager for 12 years. After becoming a freelance book publicist she joined Persephone Books, then helped launch Slightly Foxed where she is the publicity and marketing manager. She is also publicity consultant for Eland Books. She is a fan of small and vibrant independent publishers.
