Tanmay Santra is a visual artist and Assistant Professor of Fine Arts at Sarojini Naidu School of Arts & Communication, University of Hyderabad. He graduated from Indian College of Arts & Draftsmanship, Kolkata and did his master’s in fine arts (2002) from Kala Bhavan, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. He has participated in many art exhibitions, workshops and art camps since 1999, and had two Solo Projects, of which ‘Domicile-Domain-Dominion: Tales of a Changing Land’ was held at Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad (2012). His drawings and articles have appeared in Bengali magazines ‘Ekak Matra’ and ‘Yapan Chitra’. He has been associated with ‘artEAST’ a contemporary art magazine, as a regional correspondent.
