Ulka Mayur is a doctorate in literature and a trained Kathak dancer. She has been a storyteller for over ten years, presenting folklore, myths, sufi stories, and contemporary tales using theatre, music, and dance. She has written and directed the plays “Cast Off All Shame”, “Ballad of Desires”, and “Tik Tak Tales”, directed music videos, digital shows, and written shows for STAR and SONY India networks. She is the founder and director of Athah Story Festival, co-founder of Story Circus, and runs Tadka-e-Zindagi, a platform for upcoming artists. She has received Udgam Women Achiever Award and Special Achievement Award from Vishwa Hindi Akademi.
