Rohini Chintha teaches Genetics and Biotechnology at University College for Women, Koti, Hyderabad. She is also a science communicator, children’s writer, and professional storyteller. She uses storytelling to communicate science to non-science groups of all ages, especially children. She has been awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence in the field of innovation’ (2019) by KV Rao Scientific Society, Hyderabad and Electronic Arts, USA for using Storytelling as a means of teaching science. She is a winner of ‘Logon Ka FolkLog’, an online storytelling contest hosted by FolkLog and British Council in 2020. She is bilingual in her literary pursuits, and is passionate about writing and narrating for children.
